According to HIS Services Limited, Ping An Insurance (2318) and CSCL (2866) will be included in the HSCEI while Anhui Expressway (995) will be removed from the index. Changes to the constituent stocks will take effect on Monday, 6 September 2004. After the change, the total number of constituent stocks in the HSCEI will increase to 38 from 37 with a total market value of HKD354 billion as at 11 August 2004.
